DDF Protective Eye Cream is designed to fortify and protect the delicate eye area. As we all know the area around the eye is among the first to show signs of aging, and DDF provides the nutrients, anti oxidants, and protection needed to repair and protect this thin layer of skin. Created to protect your skin from the sun and to reduce free radicals, aiding in skin regeneration DDF makes profound claims of anti aging symptom reduction.
During our testing of the product we had over two dozen consumers use the product and report the benefits over a six week testing period. Our consumers ranged from skin care specialists to ordinary customers looking to try a new product. The results reported varied quite a bit depending on experience level. The ordinary consumers were happy with the application and feeling it provided and felt that the product moisturized their skin rather well. The more experienced testers realized very quickly that this cream is less about the actually healing of aging symptoms and is essentially designed to help prevent the signs of aging, not making existing ones go away.
Our Impression
Our impression was the same. DDF Protective Eye Cream, is just that; a protective eye cream. The active ingredients included are very light weight ingredients and do not do much for the actual healing, choosing instead to protect against further damage. This product does moisturize well and we all need to have a daily SPF cream that we use, but not sure we need to spend this kind of money to get it.
Recommendation
We obviously can not recommend a cream that does not heal existing signs of damage. But at the same time this product does provide value in the sense that it will protect against further damage of the sun and free radicals. Again, not wanting to be wishy washy on our recommendation we would side against the use of this product, with the exception of understanding what it is that you are buying. If you looking for a proactive approach to the aging process this may work for you. But for those consumers who already have some signs of aging, hands down, this product will not work for you.
